I’m doing Camp NaNoWriMo.
If you are intrested you can follow my old blogs url, which I turned into a side blog and am using to post JUST my writing and I will be posting it there.
Every person in the world is important. When you go through McDonald’s and order your food, that person is important. They have a family. They have hopes and dreams, just like you. Even if I’m never a published writer (my dream beyond dreams) in my life, doesn’t mean I’m less important that J.K. Rowling or Susan Collins. I was (happily) raised with a father who loves the arts. He taught me that theater needs many more people in the audience than on the stage. Knowing this, I have always loved to support the arts when and where I can.
I guess that what kind of bugs me about Glee (especially last weeks episode). It never shines a light on the supporting people. The Jazz Band (I love them). Whoever makes their costumes.
I spend my High School Theater experience making costumes for Oklahoma. IT wasn’t much, but it gave me the confidence (and skills) to make clothing, to make costumes (even though most of them or me in cosplay).
Not recognizing that makes me feel all bleh. At work, I always try to be the best person I can be. It doesn’t matter I’m not doing what I dream about, doing what I am helps support my family, and helps give my son things I never had. So I think that’s just as important as a dream.
So!
Kiva really works. I’m going to try it out with real money, also kickstarter!
